Extended care
Enrollment in Extended Care includes morning
care (6:30 to 8:00 am), afternoon care (2:40 to 6:00 pm), and full-day care
(6:30 am to 6:00 pm) for teacher workdays, holiday school breaks, etc.
Morning and Afternoon Care fee $70.00 per
week (includes all teacher workdays, holidays and school breaks)
Morning Care
In the
mornings the children play games, color or talk with their friends. Breakfast is
not provided. Before they leave for school we have morning devotion and
daily prayer. (Weddington Hills only)
Afternoon Care
In
the afternoon a healthy snack is provided with either milk or juice. Children in
the 2nd grade and above are given an opportunity to complete their homework.
Active play includes basketball, relays, mat games, etc. An area is provided for
the children to play table top toys such as board games, cards games, Lego's,
dolls, and coloring/drawing. Every Friday is movie day.
Full-Day Care
This care is provided for teacher workdays, and all school breaks. On these
special days breakfast, lunch
and an afternoon snack is provided. During the Christmas and Easter break the
children go bowling and skating.
Summer Care (2007 dates - June 11th to
August 24th)
During our summer program we have regular devotions, skating, swimming, crafts,
field trips and fun games. We offer two options in our summer program; full-time and part-time.
Full-time
Full-time is for the children who need to attend 5 days each week. The
full-time fee is paid weekly regardless of days attended by the child on any
given week.
Part-time
Part-time is for children who will be attending 1-3 days per week. The
part-time fee is paid weekly regardless of days attended. If you should need
any additional day any given week a daily fee of $20 will be added to the
weekly fee.
(A $5 sibling discount is offered on weekly
tuition)
